Lore is a non-binary composer, musician, actor, and writer with a special interest in stage combat. Since graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2012 with a Bachelor of Theatrical Production, Lore has pursued a varied career as a sound designer and technician, cellist/drummer, instrumental tutor, composer, writer, and actor. 
When exposed to stage combat in 2015, Lore became enamoured and successfully completed their foundations and intermediate certifications with SAFDi as well as training in Japanese Jiu-Jitsu up until injury compelled them to switch to swimming instead. They have also trained with numerous acting institutions, including Melbourne Actors Lab, Captivate Action, Actors Arise and the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts as well as learning by performing in various films, TV series, plays, and events. Lore has studied music since a young age, focusing primarily on the cello with some background in piano, guitar, and percussion as well as primarily self-taught music composition. 
Over the years, Lore has composed and arranged countless works for their own students and local ensembles as well as several indie films and plays, including two musicals (Shining Armour, 2013; Around the World in 80 Days, 2024). They are currently attempting to teach themself trumpet and clarinet to deepen their understanding of brass and woodwind from a compositional lens.
